Providea Conferencing LLC Career Opportunities |
Opportunity Snapshot
This position offers you the opportunity to join a leader in the fast-growing telepresence field -- a technology that will expand far beyond large corporate offices in the next 10 years. We will pay for any additional certification you need and give you the time to obtain it. While others are cutting back, we're growing at 20% in spite of the recession; in fact, a recent acquisition nearly doubled our size and resources, which include three VNOCs in the US and Canada.
As a key part of the team we're building to establish a certified Cisco Telepresence practice, you'll be involved with all aspects of videoconferencing engagements, from pre-sales consulting to design and implementation to tier III support. We're looking for a Systems Engineer and a Field Engineer, and to be a good fit for one of these opportunities you will have a CCIE, CCVP, or CCDA. Quick question for you - click here
We're looking for professionals with solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey confidence and credibility to customers. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales support and familiarity with video equipment.
Providea is a leading single-source provider of high-definition video conferencing, audiovisual and networked solutions. We serve major clients in the financial, legal, technology, healthcare, government and other industries from our 16 offices across the United States. Our preference is that you be based in Boston or Los Angeles, but you could live anywhere in the US as long as you are convenient to a major airport. Quick question for you - click here
While you should expect to travel 20% to 40% of the time, we try to minimize that -- after all, videoconferencing is our business!
What's in It for You
Strategic impact -- we're taking a proactive approach to bolstering our status as a leading provider of videoconferencing solutions, and that's no empty claim. We recently earned "Telepresence Certified Plus" status from Polycom, their highest partner status, and TANDBERG recognized us as the North American 2009 "Managed Service Provider of the Year." Now we're applying that same commitment to excellence as we build a Cisco Telepresence practice, and you'll play a key role.
A solution whose time has come -- telepresence and videoconferencing are more than just cool; they makes good sense for a number of reasons, including reducing costs, promoting environmental responsibility, maximizing resources, and enhancing collaboration. And it's no longer just for Fortune 500 companies. Small to medium sized businesses are embracing it, and we expect to see applications in consumers' homes in the very near future. Of course this will be a boon to telecommuting, and we practice what we preach . . . you'll have opportunities to work from home occasionally.
No slowdown here -- in part because telepresence and videoconferencing are cost effective at a time when clients are watching every penny, the demand is growing and so are we. We just invested in a brand new high tech corporate headquarters in Camarillo, CA, including a new VNOC. In addition to having some of the deepest video experience around, our diverse customer base ensures we'll continue to thrive. Our clients include John Hancock, Equifax, DreamWorks, CBS Studios, Abbott International, VMWare, NASA, Rutgers University, PETCO, and more.
Excellent compensation -- in addition to a competitive salary and bonus incentive program, we offer comprehensive benefits.
